This is the best bang for your buck, and our preferred way to sell our delicious farm-fresh lamb. Save money and secure your family's food supply with a whole lamb from Dry Branch Stock Farm. The most economical way to buy lamb, averaging much less per pound than buying individual cuts. If you love to cook, love to eat and like saving money, then fill your freezer with all natural, farm fresh whole lamb; born, raised and butchered right here in Danville Kentucky.
You will receive the entire animal, cut and wrapped delivered to your home. You can expect roughly 35 pounds of meat, which will fit into a normal home freezer.
How it works:
- Deposit is due when your order is placed, your final amount will vary depending on the animal's weight at time of butchering. We charge $4.00 per pound live weight, then additional processing fees of approximately $100. With a 100 pound lamb, this will bring a grand total to roughly $500.
- We'll contact you to go through the process, and give you a timeline based on our workload and animal availability. Typically, it's a 30-45 day window from the time an order is placed to when your lamb is delivered.
- When we contact you, we'll discuss the cuts and processing options based on your preferences. Don't worry it isn't that hard.
- Once your lamb is cut, wrapped and ready we'll deliver it right to your door.
